REVIEW
Since the day I started the kitty hawk flying detective agency series, I became a fan of Iain Reading. The way he writes is amazing and his writing style is just so adventurous. I just love his style! I was desperately waiting for the book 2 to pop at my door and as soon as I got it, I immediately indulged myself in it! Kitty Hawk And The Hunt For Hemingway's Ghost is an adventurous read filled with suspense, cliffhangers, comedy and Hemingway. (I seriously want a De Havilland Beaver like Kitty, seriously.
Kitty Hawk And The Hunt For Hemingway's Ghost is about Kitty's another adventure now in Florida. Kitty's parents have allowed Kitty for her 'fly-around-the-world' mission, which is completely unbelievable. So, now Kitty is in Florida Keys where she discovers about the legendary Hemingway. Kitty also discovers some strange papers with the most strange writings and nunbers, which obviously gets her excited. When she discovers the reality behind these papers, her whole life turns upside down. There was not much adventure in Kitty's life this time, but Kitty Hawk And The Hunt For Hemingway's Ghost is pretty good.
Kitty is a really adventurous girl and any girl would love to live her life. She's funny, brave and is one of my favourite protagonists. Things are never balanced in her life, one moment everything is normal, the next second everything is crazy. Kitty's life is so amazing as she is going to travel the whole world alone. I am totally jealous of Kitty's plane. Kitty's not so perfect life when becomes crazy that is from where chaos starts. The story is slow but as the novel progresses suspense starts and I noticed that Kitty has grown more mature this time.
And....Kitty is still in contact with Charlie, which made me so happy. I am still hoping for a sudden Kitty/Charlie relationship because a partner in her adventures would be amazing. Kevin and Kristina are stealing precious Emeralds from some strange place and Kitty discovers that and so she starts planing to destroy their mission. Jack and Jodi were like parents to Kitty and helped her in the mission. The Kitty Hawk And The Flying Detective Agency series does not have a romantic storyline although I am still hoping. Kitty Hawk And The Hunt For Hemingway's Ghost is so adventurous that you'll forget the absence of romance. The little twists and turns makes the story just perfect.
Overall, Kitty Hawk And The Hunt For Hemingway's Ghost is an enjoyable, exciting read that you wouldn't be able to put down. I am confused that why Iain Reading isn't so famous because his books are just so good! I can't wait to read more books by him!
