SYNOPSIS

On the run . . .

Elena Gilbert's love, the vampire Stefan Salvatore, has been captured and imprisoned by demonic spirits who are wreaking havoc in Fell's Church. While her friends Bonnie and Meredith explore the evil that has taken over their town, Elena goes in search of Stefan.

In order to find him, she entrusts her life to Stefan's brother, Damon Salvatore, the handsome but deadly vampire who wants Elena, body and soul. Along with her childhood friend Matt, they set out for the slums of the Dark Dimension, where Stefan is being held captive. It is rumored to be a world where vampires and demons roam free, but humans must live enslaved to their supernatural masters. . . .

Elena will stop at nothing to free Stefan. Yet with each passing day the tension between Elena and Damon grows, and she is faced with a terrible decision: Which brother does she really want?

Back in Fell's Church, Bonnie and Meredith have made some dire discoveries. They hastily try to follow Elena and warn her—only to be caught up in Elena's most dangerous adventure yet.

REVIEW

Shadow Souls, I think is the most different book in the TVD series. I haven't read anything like this in this series ever before! It looks like the author was making a movie in her mind and wrote it into words!
My most fav part of Shadow Souls? The whole excursion from Fell's Church to the Dark Dimension! Each chapter was very unique and I couldn't put the book down. One second! There's some new trouble! Next second! Elena's gone! This book is filled with shocks!
The book was mostly from Elena's POV. Again her character was very brave. Elena and Damon's relationship was very strong this time, and at many times she was confused if she really liked Damon.
If you are wondering about the love triangle - yup guys, there is with Elena stuck between two amazing guys. There were times when I really wanted a Delena relationship.... but Stefan! (I pity him).
Woah! The last pages were mystery filled and so full of surprises! The ending was perfect and exactly what I wanted it to be! I have to admit that Damon has wonderfully changed!
Conclusively, Shadow Souls was a very engulfing read, and it has totally made me  yearning for the last book! This book was amazing! If you are into vampires and some horror sauce, this is perfect for you! Have you read Shadow Souls? Are you a vampire lover? Answer me in the comments!
Happy Reading! <3
