SYNOPSIS

Crystal is no ordinary sixteen-year-old girl. Ever since she was a small child she’s been able to sense things, feel when danger approaches and now she’s gone one step further and saved a boy's life by summoning a supernatural being.

Little does she know it but her natural parents are powerful immortals - secret lovers in a magical land where procreation outside their own realm is forbidden. The Elders punish Amella and Bridgemear by banishing their newborn child to the world of mere mortals.

Years have passed and dark and troubled times have descended upon the Elf Realm. Crystal is visited by a shape-changer and tricked into believing that if she returns to the Kingdom of Nine Winters she will find the answers regarding her newly revealed birthright.

Soon she is caught up in dangers greater than anything she could have ever imagined while those who fight at her side battle to protect her from a wicked sorcerer turned insane and one who is willing to take her to the very edge of destruction ...

REVIEW

Sinners Of Magic is the first book in The Magic trilogy by Lynette E Creswell. The book starts with a really confusing scene, featuring a witch, Lilura, Tremlon and Bridgmear and his child, which is being given to someone else. I got confused, that why the kid is being given to someone else when the kid's real parents are alive. Fast forward to the present, the kid, Crystal, is now sixteen and is living with a woman, and Crystal doesn't know that she is her fake mother. When in the library, Tremlon takes Crystal and her friend, Matt on a magical expedition, Crystal doesn't know that how much special she is and, that death is waiting for her there.
Crystal's character was really intriguing! Crystal has those beautiful blue eyes, and also has some amazing powers. She is a really stubborn character. She always sets off to finish her goals, without any need of some sort of hero. Crystal doesn't know that she is not human, but an extraordinary being.
I thought the guy, Matt was going to have a relationship with Crystal, but it didn't happen. So, let me tell you lil bit about Matt. Matt is a human. After watching Crystal getting seizures, he decides not to meet her ever again, but when Crystal saves his life, he befriends her again. There was no falling-in-love thing. But I guess Matt likes Crystal! ; )
There were some creepy characters along with good ones. One is that witch, Lilura, whose character is nowhere but only in the 'prologue'. She was really creepy, hate the way she talks. Second is King Forusian. He is the enemy of Crystal, and I found his thin legs really disturbing, and not to mention his psychopath mind. Seriously i hated him...
Overall, the story was quite unique and smooth! I guess some more enemies are waiting for Crystal in the next book. The Betrayers Of Magic, book 2 has been released! Have you read Sinners Of Magic? Would you ever enter into the extraordinary world, just to know your reality? Comment below!
Happy Reading! <3
