SYNOPSIS

Death should never meet the young. But it did. Thanks to my brother, death made fourteen new friends that day. Maybe even fifteen, if you count Charlie.

At sixteen, Sam Macmillan is supposed to be thinking about girls, homework and his upcoming application to music college, not picking up the pieces after the school shooting that his brother Charlie committed.

Yet as Sam desperately tries to hang on to the memories he has of his brother, the media storm surrounding their family threatens to destroy everything. And Sam has to question all he thought he knew about life, death, right and wrong.

REVIEW

OMG!! What the f*** did I just read!?!? This story was soooo good!!!! It revolves around a teenage, Sam & his brother Charlie. Charlie killed some kids at school with gun. After the shooting, the school starts treating Sam badly. After Charlie's death, Sam is all alone. With mom in depression and a rude father, will he survive this all alone?
My most favourite character was obviously Sam. The character development of Sam was on point. I was amazed at how Sam fought all his battles and how he dealt with a depressed mom and bitchy friends. I really hated his father, he didn't knew how to be a good father. Due to him, Charlie used to be so depressed.
Overall, this novel is a great family read. Parents should give time to their kids and discuss their problems.
Happy Reading! <3
