SYNOPSIS

Beatrice Maria Estrella Giovannini has life all figured out. She's starting senior year at the top of her class, she’s a shoo-in for a scholarship to M.I.T., and she’s got a new boyfriend she’s crazy about. The only problem: All through high school Bea and her best friends Spencer and Gabe have been the targets of horrific bullying.

So Bea uses her math skills to come up with The Formula, a 100% mathematically-guaranteed path to social happiness in high school. Now Gabe is on his way to becoming Student Body President, and Spencer is finally getting his art noticed. But when her boyfriend dumps her for Toile, the quirky new girl at school, Bea realizes it's time to use The Formula for herself. She'll be reinvented as the eccentric and lovable Trixie—a quintessential manic pixie dream girl—in order to win her boyfriend back and beat new-girl Toile at her own game.

Unfortunately, being a manic pixie dream girl isn't all it's cracked up to be, and “Trixie” is causing unexpected consequences for her friends. As The Formula begins to break down, can Bea find a way to reclaim her true identity, and fix everything she's messed up? Or will the casualties of her manic pixie experiment go far deeper than she could possibly imagine?

REVIEW

Who isn't tired of being bullied and being the nameless person of the school? Not being noticed? Recognized as nerd?Hasn't got that sass? Failure? Yes! That's what this story is all about! Bea has a bright future ahead and that MIT scholarship is all she needs but fate has its own way. Her beloved boyfriend breaks up with her for a quirky, jumpy girl, Toile. Now her goal is to make a formula, a formula that'll change her life along with her best friends, Spencer and Gabe's too. Aaaannd, she needs to destroy Toile and get that scholarship before someone takes away from her.
Starting with the plot, the plot was a little bit draggy kinda boring at start but as you keep reading your interest starts to develop more. The writing was average good but good enough to make the novel fun filled. The formula concept was so cool like I need one too! *cries* Spencer was my bae from start and Gabe he's too damn awesome. Toile I HATED her. She was such a bitch. And Cassilyn was kinda niceish bitch *rolls eyes*.
Khair (Khair is an Urdu word means Anyways) Overall, the novel was pretty good and an amazing read to beat your damn boredom!
Happy Reading! <3
