Blog Tour - Opening The Veil by C.L. Clark | A character interview with Cassiopeia Brant | Giveaway

A Character Interview with Cassiopeia Brant

Today on our blog, we have Cassiopeia Brant from Opening The Veil!

Q: If you were given access to a time machine, would you travel to the past or future and why?
A: Ooo, that’s an easy one.  I would definitely head to the past.  I’ve got a thing for old architecture and an interest in older fashions.  Plus, ever since I started seeing and helping ghosts, I can’t help but wonder about who they were when they were alive.  It would be really great to see them in action in their time.

Q: What three things would you take to a deserted island?
A: Although Allie, that’s my cat, isn’t exactly a thing, I would definitely take her with me.  She’s not big on traveling, but I couldn’t bear to leave her behind. After that it gets tricky.  I mean, if it’s truly deserted, then I would want to have a book of matches and a survival guide. But, if it’s more on the fantasy side where food and shelter isn’t really an issue, then a laptop chock full of old movies that we can magically watch without electricity is must have.  The last item is a toss up between a freezer full of Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream or a really hot guy. Talk about fantasy!  With my luck lately the guy would turn out to be a serial killer. I stick with the ice cream.

Q: If you could have a super power, what would it be?
A: That’s a tough one. I mean, sure I’d love to fly or control things with my mind, but now that I see ghosts and they want my help, well, I’d rather be able to read their thoughts since they can’t talk. Or at least be way better at charades – that would make my life loads easier.

Q: What’s your favorite . . .

Book:  Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Movie:  Anything with Katherine Hepburn - but Bringing Up Baby in particular

Breakfast Food:  I like egg scrambles with bacon, mushrooms, and cheese.

Season:  Spring

Q: Which do you like better?

Beach or Pool?
Beach, definitely.

Cake or Pie?
Cake – Rich, yummy, devil’s food cake.

Computers or Television?
Computers – I do a lot of research

Mac or PC?
PC

Board Games or Video Games?
Board Games with lots of friends and snacks

Book or Movie?
Movies – black and white or the older colored ones.

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: I’m looking at becoming an insurance investigator; it’s interesting work. Otherwise, most of my free time is devoted to helping the spirits of Kensington Falls find closure or justice or whatever it is they need to move on. There seems to be a lot of ghosts in my town, too.

Thanks for having me on your blog today. I like what you’ve done with it – pretty cool.
