SYNOPSIS

When Rachelle was fifteen she was good—apprenticed to her aunt and in training to protect her village from dark magic. But she was also reckless— straying from the forest path in search of a way to free her world from the threat of eternal darkness. After an illicit meeting goes dreadfully wrong, Rachelle is forced to make a terrible choice that binds her to the very evil she had hoped to defeat.

Three years later, Rachelle has given her life to serving the realm, fighting deadly creatures in an effort to atone. When the king orders her to guard his son Armand—the man she hates most—Rachelle forces Armand to help her find the legendary sword that might save their world. As the two become unexpected allies, they uncover far-reaching conspiracies, hidden magic, and a love that may be their undoing. In a palace built on unbelievable wealth and dangerous secrets, can Rachelle discover the truth and stop the fall of endless night?
Inspired by the classic fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood, Crimson Bound is an exhilarating tale of darkness, love, and redemption.

REVIEW

Crimson Bound was totally unique and by unique, I mean from first word to the last, you just can't compare it to anything. The story was very interesting, it's about a bloodhound, Rachael, who hates her life. The day she became a bloodhound, everything changed and she became vicious and powerful. Now Rachael's only mission is to kill the Devourer. For killing the Devourer she needs Durendal and Joyeuse. Rachael is the perfect example of 'Never give up'..
One day, when Rachael was wandering in the forest, a bloodhound marks her. Now she has only three days, if she kills a human within three day, she will survive, but If she won't, then she'll die. Three years has passed, Rachael is now a bloodhound serving the King. In between the 'Kill the Devourer mission', she has fallen for King's son, Armand, but she knows that she can never have love. But can Rachael kill the Devourer?
You wouldn't be able to put down Crimson Bound. Rachael will take you on a excursion of her wild life, that you'll never forget. You will fall in love with her character, as you get to know more about her challenging life.
Happy Reading! <3
