SYNOPSIS

For hundreds of years, Alora has been queen. Ruling over the most remote regions of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, she spends her summers riding upon a wild stallion, her winters as a winged wolf, never aging, forever at an eternal sixteen.
This is what it means to be an Anmortal.
Centuries pass until the arrival of something new in the woods, a small boy named August. Alora watches through the years as the child grows into a young man. Slowly she finds herself falling for him, unable to tame her wild heart. Madly in love, she ignores the fact that humans and Anmortals can never be together...a mortal cannot love a creature that lives forever.
Distracted by romance, Alora doesn’t notice that there is a monster lurking in the shadows, a hunter who is determined to make Alora his prize. With no time left to run and no way out, Alora is about to make the most challenging decision of her life. What's more important...her true love, or her freedom?

REVIEW

I need to say this, that this book is fantastic like it's cover. Megan Linski has done an excellent work. This is a stand-alone novel, and first book i have ever read by this author. I really want to read more books by her.
The concept of Anmortals was very unique. I have never read anything like Anmortals before. I loved the protagonist Alora. Megan Linski has created the vision of Alora really beautiful. There is true love and action. It is the story of a sixteen year old teenage anmortal, Alora. She cares about a human guy, August. But, if she fell in love with him, she will become a human and mortal.
Alora is watching August growing up since he was a kid. When August turns sixteen, he and Alora fall in love. Alora gives up her immortality for him but she never shows her real form to August.
As she gave up her immortality in her animal form, so she is stuck in that form. On the other hand, a dangerous creature Windcomer is after Alora's soul. Now she can't face August, neither she wants her soul to be taken. But the ending is wow. Alora's identity will be revealed. But will August accept her? Can she beat the Windcomer?
The ending is awesome. In my opinion, I find Megan Linski a really nice author. I rate it 4.3/5.
Happy Reading! <3
