The novel "The test of time" is from the protagonist Katia Wilgrave's point of view. This novel takes you through four different centuries but the most part of the story is set in the 18th century. Due to the accidental time travel, Katia must ace the test of time.
I think the theme of the book is,
"Time takes test of every person at some moment of life but we have to ace the challenge, enjoy every second and move on."
Nicole Zoltack loves to write in many genres, especially romance, whether fantasy, paranormal, or regency. When she's not writing about knights, superheroes, or zombies, she loves to spend time with her loving husband and three energetic boys. She'll also read anything she can get her hands on. Katia Wilgrave (the protagonist) accidentally opens the portal to the year 1811 when she was at her friend Tony Wilson's philamore mansion in 2014. Katia falls in love with Tony Wilson but she didn't knew what was written in her fate. When she reaches at the philamore mansion in 1811, she meets lord Landon, owner of the philamore mansion. Katia asks him about tony as she don't know that she is in the year 1811. Landon tells him that no Tony lives here. Katia thinks she is dreaming and she takes a nap. But when she wakes up she find herself on the bed of Lord Landon's philamore mansion still in year 1811. She thinks that she is hallucinating but she discovers that this is reality and she is stuck here. So as to settle here, sage helps her to transform herself into lady katia from the ordinary cool katia by learning, walking and eating like the ladies of the 18th century.
Landon resembles Tony a lot and she falls in extremely love with him. Lord Landon explains her that he has been seeing her in his dreams and that he has feelings for her. He also learns that Katia is from the future. Landon starts losing his sleep in the worry that katia don't run away. Katia is afraid to express her love for Landon and explains to him she can never be his as she will have to go back one day. Meanwhile, her servant finds out the way to travel to future and sage travels to the 19th century. Katia regrets her mistake of telling sage about the future although landon had warned her not to tell any one. She makes some friends Mary Ellen and Juliet. Mary Ellen resembles Katia a lot in nature and they become good friends.
She hears that Wilgroves are some dangerous people involved in witchcrafts. So with Mary Ellen she rides at the Wilgroves and she sees three women who warn her to break the cycle. Katia gets confused and meets an old woman whom she has met before when she was alone in the library, the woman had given her a torch. The old lady tells Katia to break the cycle which is actually a curse. She explains her that when a lady falls in love with a Philamore and Wilson a curse takes over her. She has to break the cycle to get free. In order to break the cycle she must travel through four different centuries. She decides that after breaking the curse she will live the rest of her life with Landon.
But will she be able to break the cycle? Will she live peacefully?
